Single Vineyard
Harvested October 14th from our Naramata Bench Estate at 23.4 Brix sugar level.  After a day pre-soaking on the skins the wine was fermented in small batches with manual punch-downs daily.  This vintage shows our typical style – elegant structure yet sufficient tannins to further develop with bottle aging, after 21 months aging in French Oak barrels.  Damson plum colour with aromas of plum & black cherry. Ripe, soft tannins and a touch of toast round it out.

John Schreiner’s review of our 2020 Merlot – 94 Points. “This is a textbook Merlot – rich, generous in texture and flavour. The wine was aged 21 months in French oak barrels. It has aromas and flavours of black cherry, plum and blueberry, with a touch of spice on the lingering finish.”
